JOKER THE KING

Jokers the fools with the blackest of hearts,
The sidelining mascots who with bravery part,
Jokers the jesters who steal and deceive,
The richest of men but all of them thieves.

The man who would smile but would rather grin,
Angrily, threateningly, and all thoughts akin,
He thinks of corruption, of torture, of lies,
He thinks of the men that he can’t help despise.

He insults and threatens and laughs and he cries,
When all of his dreams and memories die,
He kills all the hundreds without a moment’s respite,
But loses his own and it all becomes night.

The world is his own and he treats it as such,
He thinks it’s a land of all those corrupt,
But of course he’s the ruler,
He knows it is so,
So he is the only one to never let go.
