A Gifted Talent XXII...HarrisDear friends of the arts please allow me to introduce to you Haris, a gentleman from Greece.
His mind's eye is an insightful look at who we are as a people portrayed through his camera's eye.
He shoots it all AS IT IS...even in color...but I chose to present his B&W work.
Mainly because I find B&W to be the prefect vehicle to speak the language of artistic expression through the reality of the unreality that inherently can only be found in B&W.
In this medium his voice is heard on many levels. Besides that, its simply very good work.
I hope you enjoy Haris' photography as much as I do.

Originally the Realism movement's ideology that photography must be about documentary was challenged with Surrealism's movement towards the abstract. In their ideology a photo could express the concept of an image as an essential being. Daragh has embraced this notion in his work. His object is the image itself and its creative process.
Through digital darkroom magic I must say he has excelled in this medium and has taken the genre of abstract/surreal photography to new levels of excellence.

You may love her art or you may hate it because of its macabre erotica foundation but one thing you can't do once looking at it and that is ignore it.
For this is precisely what epitomizes Kelly as Artist.
She is the Mapplethorpe of her generation. She may not make everyone feel but she certainly can make us all think.

A Gifted Talent XXX...MJDear friends of the arts please allow me to introduce to you MJ and her delightfully "small world" of photographic art.
MJ calls somewhere near Chicago, USA, home and it is there that she finds a new face and look at the Windy City. It is a feather in her cap that in spite of those winds she can capture the most delicate nuances of nature in an expressively poetic fashion. As an artist MJ works through the lens of a camera mainly but lately has begun posting drawings which certainly hint that this artist's well of creativity runs deep.
Many of you know of MJ's fine macro work...and many more should in my honest opinion.
