Hello,my lovely DA friends!
Conscience is a piece of God,planted inside us...
We can bend it,stretch it,distort it,confuse it,lie to it...
But it's always in there,watching,knowing,remembering and waiting..
Waiting to catch us alone,in our bed,late in the night....

Carried AwayThe scent of woodsmoke
Always carries me back...
To girlhood memories
Of campfires for warmth
Taps at twilight
And oatmeal at dawn
To spiders and skeeters
Singalongs and s'mores
And a sky so much bluer
Than I'd ever seen before
Swimming and pocket knives
Flashlights and pillow fights
Climbing Suicide Hill
Running in molten moonlight
When we believed in goodness
And in being prepared
And life stretched out further
Than imagination could dare
When the world was new
And sweet with the scent
of woodsmoke...
